Ghana coach to ring changes for Mali match
Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has hinted of changes to his squad for their Group D day two clash against Mali on Saturday in Franceville.
The changes by the Serbian are in response to the absence of captain John Mensah, who was given the marching off orders in their opener against Botswana last Tuesday.
Though keeping the proposed changes to his squad, the Serbian is likely to effect yet another chane at the left-side of his defence, which was manned by Ukraine-based Samuel Inkoom in the first game.
“You know who plays first game but never know who would play last game. I need 20 ready players for the competition.
“And I am sure that I have quality players and I believe in every player present here,” Stevanovic told the press ahead of their game.
A win for Ghana will see them qualify for the quarter final of the competition with a game to spare against Guinea.
