2012 Afcon/Ghana: Blacks Stars boosted by Gyan recovery
Ghana have received a big boost for their Africa Cup of Nations Group D match against Mali on Saturday as striker Asamoah Gyan has been declared fit to play in the game.
The forward returned to training on Friday as the Black Stars wrapped up their preparations for the match, after pulling out of training on Thursday.
Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic says he will name the striker in his starting line-up when they play co-leaders Mali at the Stade Franceville.
"I'm sure that Gyan is ready for the game and you watched the training. He is one player I'm thinking about," Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic said.
"We have definitely resolved all problems and with the first XI I know Gyan is included.
"He had some problems yesterday but today he is better."
