Zahoui applauds team’s experience
Cote d’Ivoire coach Francois Zahoui has said that his team’s experience at the Africa Cup of Nations played a pivotal role in their reaching the semi finals.
The Elephants beat co-hosts Equatorial Guinea to seal their place at the medal zone for the third time since 2006.
“Equatorial Guinea was a very strong team. Fortunately for me, I have players with experience and can make a difference. Drogba made the difference today.
“I have a team of matured players and their experience has been the secret to our reaching this far.”
The Ivorians will face the winner of the Gabon-Mali quarter final in next Wednesday’s semi final.
