Sudan coach Mazda optimistic of beating Zambia

Sudan coach Mohammed ‘Mazda’ Abdallah is very confident in team’s abilities to crash out the Zambian, when they face-off at the quarter final of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday in Bata.

Abdallah told the press in Bata on Friday that he has much confidence is his squad made of locally-based players.
“I’m very confident in the abilities of my team. It will be a tough match and at the end, one team will stay and the other will go out.
“We need full concentration against the tactically gifted Zambians. Als, we have to minimize our mistakes at the back and we can think of moving forward.”
Sudan are in the last eight for the first time in 42-years but Mazda insists they want to go a step further.
“For the whole of Sudan, this a great achievement but we want to go one step further.”
The winner of the Sudan-Zambia game will face either Ghana or Tunisia at the semi final stage.
