Expected to play on Sunday, February 5 at Franceville in the quarter finals of the 2012 AFCON, Ghana and Tunisia are familiar. In Franceville, they play their sixteenth game since 1963. The statistics of the matches are strongly in favour of the Black Stars that have recorded 7 wins (three  draws) only against four for the  Eagles of Carthage.

In terms of the list of achievemnts, Ghana is also clearly ahead with his four continental titles (1963, 1965, 1978 and 1982) against a single trophy won by Tunisia (2004). No doubt, the winner of the sixteenth round will have serious chances to win  the competition.
