Ghana came through a tight semi-final to beat the 2004 champions 2-1 in extra-time in what was at times a temperamental game fraught with bad tackles.
Badu who took the Man of the Match honours after another tireless display in midfield hailed the spirit of the side which he is convinced can take them past Zambia in Wednesday's semi-final.

"We had to dig in against Tunisia as we have had to do in every game," the Udinese man said to KickoffGhana.

"We have had tough games so far but the next one against Zambia will be the most difficult because it is a place in the final at stake and they are playing good football."

Badu laughs off suggestions that the Black Stars have been unconvincing and says what matters most is that they have won games here. We are not playing to please anyone.

"At the end of the day we have won three games and drawn one and are in the semi-final."
