CAN Orange 2010 / Egypt-Algeria : CAF reassures
The CAF does not plan to tighten security measures before Thursday's Orange Angola 2010 semifinal between Egypt and Algeria.
The African Football Confederation is concerned by the Algeria-Egypt semifinal, which will take place in Benguela on Thursday. But the governing body was reassuring: « There was a security meeting on Tuesday morning and if need be, we would tighten security but there is nothing to suggest that right now,» declared a CAF official to AFP. We will limit the risk of violence by separating both sets of fans (which will be relatively few) in the stadium.
